What a find!
This fine example of vernacular architecture was originally
located "around the corner" at the rear of
Worrell Tavern. Some years ago it was moved to this
location and placed on a new foundation with full basement
- and so began its new life. In 1998, the present owners
started a three-year renovation to bring this comfortable
old building alive to today's standards and contemporary
needs.
As
a reminder of the building's "roots", the
original stairs, pine floors and claw foot tub were
saved. 317 South Queen Street is now a "modern
